Plan around the job this sign needs to do
Provide the room schedule, approved wording, sign locations, and project accessibility requirements. Have the responsible project professionals confirm the applicable specifications, including tactile characters, braille, contrast, and mounting details, before production.
Decisions that shape the result
- Room and facility identification
- Tactile and braille sign planning
- Coordinated finish and sign-family layouts
A planning note for Cayce
Review short directional messages separately from detailed information. A sign people read while approaching needs a different hierarchy from a screen viewed while waiting.
Bring the site and design together
Provide building or site photos, the available sign space, and the message your audience should notice first. Identify existing structures or signs that may be reused or replaced. Your quote should describe the sign, installation scope, artwork status, and desired schedule as one project.
